"Using Periketamine Addiction to Make Money"
Five people, including a doctor and a private secretary, have been charged in connection with the death of actor Matthew Perry, who is famous for playing Chandler in the famous American sitcom Friends.
According to Reuters, federal prosecutors in Los Angeles (LA) announced the results of the investigation into Perry's death on the 15th (local time) and indicted five people, including two doctors who supplied Perry with large amounts of ketamine, a private secretary who lived with Perry, and a ketamine supplier.
"They are part of an extensive underground criminal network that has supplied large amounts of ketamine drugs to actors and others," prosecutors said, "and they have used Perry's ketamine addiction to make their own money."
Anne Milgram, director of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), said the defendants played a role in falsely prescribing or injecting ketamine to Perry.
