'Friends' actor Matthew Perry arrested a doctor in connection with his death
At least one person has been arrested in connection with the death of Matthew Perry, the actor of the popular sitcom Friends, who died of an overdose of ketamine last year, local media reported.
NBC and other local media cited law enforcement officials as saying several people involved in delivering ketamine to Perry, including a doctor, were arrested in southern California on the 15th local time.
Matthew Perry died in October last year at the age of 54 after being unconscious in a hot tub at his LA home, and an autopsy concluded it was due to the side effects of ketamine, a powerful sedative.
LA police and the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration have investigated the source of ketamine in relation to the cause of Matthew Perry's death, and it has been concluded that several people, including doctors, were involved.
